California Certification Preparation Course - 2010 Fall Session

The California HR Certification, sponsored by HRCI and the California State Council of SHRM (CASC), recognizes California's unique legal and regulatory requirements by examining the HR professional's knowledge of California's employment laws, rules, and regulations and the required policies, practices, and procedures to adequately ensure profit and non-profit, private and public employer compliance. In this seven week prep course attendees will review the specific knowledge areas defined by HRCI which are compensation and benefits, employee and labor relations, leaves of absence and workers' compensation and health, safety and security.

This class will meet every Wednesday evening for six weeks from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Instructors:
The instructors for this session will be Richard Propster, SPHR-CA, and Mery Propster, SPHR.

PLEASE NOTE:
Professionals interested in taking the California Certification exam MUST already have a PHR or SPHR designation.
